I should have done this post a long time ago, but sometimes I just get busy. I apologize for forgetting something so important to our listeners!
If you live in the area, you may want to know where you can WORSHIP Our Lord on this very important holiday that we all celebrate. If you need to know where to come celebrate with your brothers and sisters, and don’t have somewhere already lined up, you can :
(1) Go at dawn, and REALLY celebrate the Empty Tomb, to the Easter Sunrise Service at Mandalay Beach. The service starts at 6:30AM, and you can come in your jeans, your pajamas, or whatever makes you feel comfortable. Bring the kids, your coffee, beach chair, warm shoes and blanket to cuddle up and stay warm, and come celebrate the DAWNING of Easter Sunday. AND/OR… you can go to services later at Calvary Chapel of Oxnard. Easter services are at the regular time at 8AM, 9:30AM, and 11:15AM. Here are some maps for you so you don’t get lost if you haven’t been there before.
I know for me, it’s a family tradition, Easter Sunrise services. My kids are now in the 30’s (the oldest ones) …and I started taking them when they were about 5. We used to live in Riverside, and there is a small mountain in the center of town. The boy scouts used to light the trail to the top starting around 3AM, and 1/2 the town hiked it while it was still dark. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the resurrection, and to teach my children, and to also start a family tradition that I hope gets passed on. To me, it is the most important holiday of the year. So I pray your resurrection Sunday will also be a great blessing.
OK, here’s the maps:
The one little square is the parking lot you will want to park in, and the bigger square is the area on the beach where the services are typically held. (provided they use the same location they have always used) …of course if I’m wrong, I’m close…just follow the crowd. 🙂
Basically, just take Wooley, or Channel Islands straight out to Harbor, or if you are coming from Ventura, take Harbor Blvd all the way down till you get to Mandalay Beach Road, turn in and take that street straight out to the parking lot! See you there!
I just really wanted to share this video with you. This young man really inspired me. I haven’t seen youth bold enough for Jesus to openly worship without regard for consequence since I don’t know when. …sometime in the 80’s or 90’s at least. Good for him. What happened to the world where all born again Christians openly showed their love for their love like this young man? I’d like to see it return myself, if it’s possible.
I apologize for the poor video quality. All I had to grab this video was my cell phone. 🙁 By the way, if you know who this talented young man is, please write in tell me so he can get credit for his beautiful voice and music.
We are in the process of updating the broadcast schedule, and adding new informational pages for all our new wonderful bible teachers, but there is no need for you to wait for us to start listening. They are already being broadcast. There are about 9 or 10 brand new bible teachers, and a couple we have had in the past are also returning. (Chuck Missler, Skip Heitzig, Lloyd Pulley) and sadly, Pastor’s Perspective will no longer be broadcast. But why wait for the website to catch up? You can tune in to Worship 101 Cross Culture Radio on 101.5 FM radio in Oxnard, now, and start listening to them. And this developer will catch you on the flip side… 🙂
Peace and Love be with you all.
Time to end the Holiday season I guess. This is a nice 3+ hours of Praise and Worship for you to enjoy, but I especially like all the images of all the ways that worship is portrayed here. However put the video together did a fantastic job of gathering images of worship. So Bless The Lord With Me!
If you ever have any requests, or videos you run across that you would like to see shared, please contact us. We would LOVE to see what types of worship you have found that bless you.
Thank you for being a faithful listener and a part of our family.

AGAIN, ANYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN AND PRAY!
You may not realize the thought, prayer, and care that goes into the search for the video for the top of the website, but we can’t just stick anything up there, right? I mean, when you only get to put one, the message, the content, the authors, everything is carefully considered, and then, well we wait on God for that one perfect worship music video that has the quality and the message that He wants to share. So, it may seem late, but we have to wait until The Holy Spirit manages to get us to see just that right video that He wants us to share with you, because it’s all about Him after all.
That being said, We finally found the Christmas video for 2017. I hope it blesses you as it blesses me. Watch it on the big monitor, and turn up the speakers, (or if it’s night, put the headsets on maybe) and get in the Christmas Spirit!
Merry Christmas to All Our Worship 101 Friends!
